These are unprecedented times for the availability of public grant funding for organisations/companies to apply for. The UK’s Industrial Strategy is making up to £15bn available for R&D funding, much of which appears as Innovate UK competitions.

BK will drill down into what interests this potential funder in particular, to improve your chances of winning. Every month the BK audio news podcast The Money Minutes will highlight a specific grant and the 60 second snap-shot podcast BK Insights will provide an insightful biog on a specific funder.

Bid Writing Masterclass to help you write better grant applications – 3hr BK comprehensive, highly interactive event demonstrating best practices in bid writing technique. The Masterclass will give you hints, tips and hacks from a successful bid writer with decades of experience..

Check your application – you write a first draft application and BK will check it to provide observations on what we see/identify as the strengths and weaknesses of your bid. BK will aim to feedback these observations to you within 3 working days.

Check and edit your application – as above, plus BK can provide editing suggestions about how to strengthen your draft. These suggestions from BK bid writers will be based on: if this was my bid this is how I would present it/write it.

Draft your application in partnership with you. BK will provide up to 40hrs support to work with you to shape your application. This will involve providing the resource to help draft/re-draft your application.

Provide you with 1hr online and real-time Bid Writing Surgeries – this is where BK becomes an active and – if required – ongoing member of your drafting team through live Zoom discussions.

Run Bid Mastermind Team Training Days – 2-3 day awayday with teams focusing on good bid writing technique away from the office to optimise accelerated learning.
